STACKOVERFLOW | Demo
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
STACKOVERFLOW is a rougelike bullet purgatory where the enemies projectiles are both obstacles and the players source of power. Getting hit transfers data from the bullet to your stack, where it can make you stronger or weaker, or even unlock entirely new abilities. But be careful, as you only have so much memory before your system overflows.
In STACKOVERFLOW, you play as a friendly little robot who has awoken in a destroyed laboratory overrun with murderous robots, who you'll have to fight your way through to find the Scientist that created you and put a stop to whatever has caused these machines to turn against their creators.
This game was originally created as a university project by the team members listed below. In it's current state, there is still balance and polish and content to be added, but we hope you enjoy trying it nonetheless!
